Brian graduated from The University of Queensland in December 1978. He worked in Nambour before he came to Cooroy where he opened Cooroy Veterinary Surgery in 1982. Brian enjoys all areas of veterinary practice with particular interests in canine and feline medicine. Brian is a very dedicated and caring veterinarian who enjoys looking after the animals in the district and enhancing their quality of life.
Outside work, Brian enjoys tennis, touch football, motorbike riding and kayaking. Brian and his wife Sharon have four children, Shannon, Brendan, Morgan and Justin. They have a lovely Burmese cat called Cinnamon who enjoys her life of luxury and pretending she rules the roost. A more recent addition to the family is Abby a gorgeous black Labrador who enjoys her life to the full!

Dawn Herd BVSc
Dawn joined the team at Cooroy Veterinary Surgery in 2006, moving up from Brisbane for a tree change. Dawn quickly became a familiar and friendly face at the surgery. Dawn enjoys all aspects of Veterinary care, although her passion is in preventative health for her patients ensuring their owners are informed of the best way to care for them. Dawn is currently on maternity leave after the birth of her second child in January 2011.

Kaitlin Davey
Katie holds a Certificate II in Animal Studies and has been an enthusiastic part of Cooroy Veterinary Surgery since she started as a school based trainee in 2007.
